On 31 January 2025, leading media and democracy scholars Nico Carpentier (Charles University), Anne Grüne (University of Erfurt), Tanja Thomas (University of Tübingen), and Jeffrey Wimmer (University of Augsburg & Charles University) convened to discuss the MeDeMAP WP2 book, Democracy and Media in Europe: A Discursive-Material Approach.
The discussion was conducted under the motto“Current Challenges and Threats” and examined key issues affecting democratic media landscapes across Europe.
